After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about two hours through Maasai villages and rolling countryside. Upon arrival, start an exciting game drive in one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic ancient baobab trees that define the landscape. The Tarangire River provides a permanent water source, attracting abundant wildlife year-round. During your game drive, look for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, and many bird species.
