Moshi to Tarangire

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and driven to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Famous for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant populations, the park offers exceptional game-viewing opportunities. During your game drive, you may spot herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of other wildlife gathering around the Tarangire River and seasonal lagoons. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park before continuing your afternoon safari adventure.

In the late afternoon, depart for Ngare Lodge, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a peaceful setting.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. The crater’s rich ecosystem supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard as well as zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and many other species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool, surrounded by the crater’s breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. After your game drive, begin your journey back to Moshi, arriving in the late afternoon. From there, you can continue your travels to Zanzibar or prepare for your flight home, bringing your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure to a close.
