Today's highlight is a trek to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, near the village of Moshi. This guided walk takes you through lush coffee and banana plantations, passing local Chagga villages. Arrive at the stunning 80-meter waterfall for a refreshing swim in the natural pool. Learn about traditional coffee farming and enjoy a cup of locally grown coffee.

Drive to Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands, passing through rolling green hills and Maasai villages, before descending onto the vast Serengeti plains. En route, enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater rim with panoramic views. Arrive at the central Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drives on the endless grasslands, searching for the Big Five.

An early start today for the descent into Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor covers 260 square kilometers and shelters an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, elephants, hippos, and over 500 species of birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and continuing to camp.

Drive south to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. Return to Arusha
Return to Arusha
After a final breakfast at camp, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon. Stop at a local curio market for last-minute souvenir shopping. You will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey home, carrying wonderful memories of Tanzania's spectacular wildlife and landscapes.
