Day 1

Early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, Airport by your professional English-speaking safari guide. After a short briefing, begin the scenic drive north through Uganda's beautiful countryside towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the country's only wild rhino sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch before checking into your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided Rhino Tracking Experience, walking alongside experienced rangers in search of the Southern White Rhinos. This exciting activity offers a rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals in their natural habitat while learning about the successful conservation efforts that have helped restore rhinos to Uganda. Later, head into the wetlands for a Guided Shoebill Trek, one of Uganda's premier birding experiences. Accompanied by an expert local guide, search for the elusive Shoebill Stork while also spotting numerous wetland bird species and other wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, check out and continue your journey towards Budongo Forest, located on the southern edge of the Park. Upon arrival, attend a briefing before embarking on an exciting Chimpanzee Trekking Experience through one of East Africa's largest natural mahogany forests. Accompanied by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority guides, search for habituated chimpanzees and spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural environment. Budongo is also home to several other primates, including black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and olive baboons, while bird enthusiasts can enjoy sightings of some of the forest's more than 360 recorded bird species. After lunch, continue into the Park and visit the Top of the Falls, where the mighty River Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-metre gorge before plunging approximately 43 metres into the Devil's Cauldron below. Feel the thunderous roar of the falls. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Wake up early for breakfast before setting off on a thrilling morning game drive through the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, where wildlife is most active during the cooler hours of the day. Keep an eye out for African Elephants, Rothschild's Giraffes, Cape Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards (if lucky). The Park is equally rewarding for bird lovers, with species such as the Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, Secretary Bird, Saddle-billed Stork, African Fish Eagle, and numerous kingfishers.
Return to the lodge for lunch before heading to Paraa for the famous Victoria Nile Boat Cruise. Cruise upstream towards the base of Murchison Falls while enjoying close-up views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and countless water birds along the riverbanks. The boat stops near the base of the falls, offering spectacular views of one of Africa's most powerful waterfalls before returning to the jetty.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, head to the Victoria Nile for an exciting Sport Fishing Experience. The Nile below Murchison Falls is one of Africa's premier freshwater fishing destinations, renowned for its giant Nile Perch and catfish. Whether you are an experienced angler or a beginner, professional fishing guides will provide assistance throughout the excursion. Fishing equipment can be hired if required.
Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, embark on an evening game drive, offering another opportunity to explore different areas of the park as wildlife becomes active before sunset. Watch elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators preparing for the evening, while enjoying the stunning golden light that makes for exceptional wildlife photography. Return to the lodge for dinner and your final overnight stay in the park.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out of your lodge. Begin the return journey to Entebbe, enjoying scenic countryside views and lunch en route. Depending on your schedule, there will be an opportunity to stop at local craft shops for souvenirs before arriving in the late afternoon or evening. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel, or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your memorable Ugandan safari.
