Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your professional safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third-largest national park and one of the best places to see large elephant herds. The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, the only permanent water source that attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and up to 6,000 elephants during the dry season. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 300 bird species recorded. After an exciting game drive, continue to your camping located just outside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking landscapes before entering the endless plains of Serengeti. Begin an exciting game drive in search of the Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffaloes. Stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate before continuing your afternoon game drive deeper into the park. As the sun begins to set, head to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under the African sky.

Optional: On the way to Serengeti, you may visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the Maasai people's unique culture, customs, and way of life. This cultural experience is available at an additional cost.
