From Zanzibar to Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning transfer to the airport for your 08h00 flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 09h15, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours away. During the drive, enjoy an introduction to the region’s culture and history, with insights into Arusha and the traditions of the Maasai people. On arrival, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of nature before beginning your game drive.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and striking landscapes of open plains, seasonal swamps, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts animals year-round. As you explore, keep an eye out for lions stalking prey, giraffes, zebras, and even elusive leopards resting in the trees. After an exciting afternoon safari, you’ll continue to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the world-famous Serengeti National Park, carrying a picnic lunch to enjoy out in the bush. This gives you the flexibility to spend the day exploring the park’s endless plains and incredible wildlife at a relaxed pace. The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary variety of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, and many other species thriving in their natural habitat.

Depending on the time of year, you may also have the chance to witness the spectacular Great Migration, as vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. The Serengeti’s sweeping landscapes, dramatic skies, and abundant wildlife create unforgettable scenery and exceptional photo opportunities.

Later in the afternoon, return to your camp in the heart of the Serengeti for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, continue with a morning game drive through Central Serengeti, one of the park’s most rewarding wildlife areas, famous for its vast open plains and exceptional game viewing. This region offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of grazing animals across the savannah. Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also renowned for hosting the spectacular Great Migration. Its name, derived from the Maasai language, means “endless plains,” a fitting description of its breathtaking landscapes. After your morning safari to afternoon, begin the journey south toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you’ll arrive at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge in time for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

This is your last opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes while searching for animals in one of Africa’s most remarkable conservation areas. After the game drive, you’ll begin the journey back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport in time for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the incredible memories made during your safari adventure.
