Gorilla trekking in the Impenetrable Forest

This morning, we take the short drive to the park. Before the start of the trek, we register and then enjoy a cultural performance. We begin gorilla trekking in Bwindi on the trails that cross the forest. The forest undergrowth is full of life, from primates to forest elephants, birds, and butterflies. We follow the marks left by the Gorillas to find them. The best moment is when we meet the Gorillas on the ground. These unique animals live in a family of up to 15 individuals headed by the Gorilla silverback. They feed, play, and sometimes fight. We spend an hour with the Gorillas as they go about their daily lives. They can even come close to you! In the afternoon, we relax at the lodge or take a community tour.
