Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park / Game Drive

Early in the morning, at 6:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti.

Upon your arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 10:40 am, our driver-guide will pick you up and continue with a game drive in Central Serengeti. You will stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park and then proceed with the game drive until the evening. Afterward, you will head to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers. It has over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area teems with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebras during the Dry season. However, the Northern Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles and the rare oribi antelopes.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

You'll depart from your accommodation after breakfast at 6:00 am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about 3 hours to reach the Ngorongoro gate. You'll embark on a full-day crater tour game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, departing at 4:30 pm. Upon arrival at 5:30 pm, you will meet our driver, who will transfer you to your hotel.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the World Heritage Sites designated under both natural and cultural criteria. Once you descend into the crater, you will have a great chance to spot the Big Five animals, including a pride of lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, leopards, black rhinos and bird species like flamingos in the crater lakes and an amazing natural environment inside the crater. Be ready to see many varieties of wild animals here within a short time.
