Konso Cultural Landscape to Jinka
Drive south to the Konso Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its terraced hillsides, fortified villages, and carved wooden grave markers called waka. Walk through a traditional Konso village with a local guide to learn about the community's farming techniques and social structure, then continue to Jinka, gateway town to the Mago National Park and Omo Valley tribal areas.

Day 3
Mursi Village & Transfer to Turmi
Mursi Village & Transfer to Turmi
Drive into Mago National Park to visit a Mursi village, known worldwide for the lip plates and body painting traditions of its women. Your guide will help you engage respectfully with the community and understand the cultural significance of these traditions. In the afternoon, continue to Turmi, home base for visiting the Hamer people over the next two days.

Day 4
Hamer Village, Omorate & Farewell Dinner
Hamer Village, Omorate & Farewell Dinner
Spend the day among the Hamer people, visiting a local village and, where the calendar allows, witnessing a traditional bull-jumping ceremony, a rite of passage for young Hamer men. In the afternoon, drive to Omorate on the Omo River to meet the Dasanech people and, where water levels allow, cross the river by dugout canoe to visit a riverside village. Return to Turmi in the evening for a farewell dinner hosted by Origin Abyssinia, celebrating the cultures and traditions encountered throughout the journey with traditional food and a chance to reflect on the trip with your guide.

Fly to Addis Ababa & Departure
Fly to Addis Ababa & Departure
Transfer back to Arba Minch and fly to Addis Ababa. Depending on your international flight schedule, enjoy free time in the capital before your guide transfers you to Bole International Airport for departure, concluding your journey through the South Omo Valley's living cultures.
