Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our office representative for a short safari briefing, who will introduce you to your safari guide. Soon after, drive across the Great Rift Valley to reach Kenya's most famous game reserve, the Masai Mara, in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy your first game viewing drive exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-maned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo, along with varied species of hoofed animals and a variety of birds.
As the sun sets, return to the tented camp for dinner and overnight. You stay in a tent with a permanent roof, bed, bed linen, a hot-water shower, and a private toilet, all self-contained. Tents are high, and one can stand freely inside. Tents accommodate 2 people of the same gender or couples, one bed or twin beds. For persons traveling together, there are 3 beds, or for a single person, you can have your own tent at a small fee.

Day 2
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, leave for a full-day safari with a picnic lunch box and spend the whole day with wild animals. The Masai Mara Reserve has 588 square miles of open plains, woodlands and riverine forest. This world-famous reserve supports an array of animal species, including large herds of zebra, giraffe, gazelle, buffalo, and topi. The acacia woodlands are alive with birdlife. The Mara and Talek Rivers are home to hippos and crocodiles - everywhere there is a profusion of life.
Each year, the Mara is the staging ground of one of nature’s greatest spectacles, the migration of over 1.3 million wildebeest from the Serengeti. A surging column of life, these massive herds pour across the plains, bringing the Mara to life. The profusion of grazing animals makes the Mara a perfect hunting ground for predators. Mara is truly the "Kingdom of the Lion", and these majestic predators dominate the landscape. At around 17h00, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
