Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar, soaring over the mainland directly into Central Serengeti. Upon landing at a bush airstrip, you will step straight into a custom 4x4 safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive across the iconic Seronera Valley. This central region is world-renowned for its golden savannahs and high concentration of big cats—including prides of lions, elusive leopards, and elegant cheetahs.

As the sun sets, you will head to your intimate safari camp to share stories around the campfire.

Ngorongoro Crater Exploration and Drive to Karatu

We depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending 600 meters into the magnificent crater floor. This collapsed caldera acts as a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 large mammals, offering your best chance to spot the rare black rhino alongside massive bull elephants and hungry predators.

After a scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor, we ascend and head to Karatu to relax in a lush, peaceful lodge.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha & Fly to Zanzibar

We spend our final morning exploring Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. We will track wildlife gathering along the Tarangire River before enjoying a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we drive back to Arusha for your scheduled return flight to Zanzibar.

We will drop you off at the airport, hoping you enjoyed your wild adventure with Serengeti Steppe!
