Fly from Zanzibar to Central Serengeti (Game Drive)

Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar, soaring over the azure Indian Ocean and Tanzania’s spectacular coastline before landing at a remote bush airstrip in the heart of the Central Serengeti. Your private Serengeti Steppe guide will be waiting with a luxury 4x4 vehicle, ready to begin your first game drive.

The legendary Seronera Valley is one of the Serengeti’s richest wildlife areas and a stronghold for resident big cats. Explore the golden plains and rocky kopjes where lions often lounge in the afternoon sun, while elusive leopards may be found resting in the branches of acacia trees and cheetahs scan the open grasslands for their next opportunity.

As the day unfolds, follow the rhythms of the wilderness and enjoy every unexpected encounter. By evening, arrive at your high-end canvas oasis, where a gourmet dinner awaits beneath a vast African sky. Settle into the sounds of the Serengeti and enjoy your first unforgettable night in the wild.

We rise early and journey toward the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, descending nearly 600 meters through the dramatic crater walls into an ancient volcanic caldera. The vast crater floor is a natural wildlife sanctuary, home to an extraordinary concentration of animals and offering an excellent chance to encounter the Big Five in a single afternoon, including the rare black rhino and magnificent black-maned lions.

We spend the day exploring the crater’s grasslands, woodland, and lakes, following wildlife as the landscape unfolds around us. A beautiful picnic lunch will be enjoyed beside the hippo pool, surrounded by the sights and sounds of this remarkable wilderness.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha & Fly to Zanzibar

Our final morning takes us into the remarkable landscapes of Tarangire National Park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. We set out on a final game drive, following the park’s wildlife-rich plains and dry riverbeds, where elephants are often seen digging deep into the ground in search of precious underground water.

The morning unfolds among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife drawn to the park’s remaining water sources. A fresh hot lunch will be served during the day, giving you time to relax and savour one last taste of the African bush.
