The drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You have breakfast and thereafter drive slowly to Bwindi forest. The route is interesting as it crosses the Equator and passes through villages and upcountry towns. Along the way, you will see how the local people live in Uganda. It is interesting to see how the system of life runs in Uganda. Western lifestyles are mixed with African cultures to make life more enjoyable. We arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon.

Day 3

Today is the time to see the Gorillas. You enter the forest and after a walk, you come face to face with the mountain Gorillas. Gorillas are unique animals that live in families like human beings. A gorilla family comprises the leader, the silverback, his wives, and children. They play and sometimes fight. You will watch the gorillas as they relax. In the forest, the Gorillas eat their favourite fruits and leaves as well as ants. In the afternoon, you will go on the Batwa trail. The Batwa trail is a thrilling experience to see how these people live in the forest. It is an opportunity to see how the Batwa pygmies hunt and gather food. How do the Pygmies traditionally treat their sick and their dead? Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one of the oldest forests in the world. It is a world heritage site with forest elephants and chimpanzees. The endemic birds of the Rift Valley live in Bwindi Forest.
