Zanzibar to Tarangire | Your Tanzania Safari Begins

After an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, you will arrive at approximately 09:15 and be welcomed by your professional safari guide. From Arusha, you will begin your scenic drive towards Tarangire National Park, passing through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania. Upon arrival at the park, you will start your first wildlife experience with a game drive through the spectacular Tarangire ecosystem, known for its impressive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, diverse birdlife, and abundant wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and, with luck, lions and other predators.

You will enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your exploration with an afternoon game drive, offering more opportunities to discover the park’s unique landscapes and wildlife. As the day comes to an end, you will proceed to Safari Haven Tarangire Camp, where you will relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Tarangire Wildlife Adventure | Evening Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast at Safari Haven Tarangire Camp, you will begin your final wildlife experience with a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the last moments of your safari as you explore the park’s beautiful landscapes, searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife species that call this area home. You may choose to experience an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Tarangire at an additional cost. This activity must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.

After the game drive, you will enjoy lunch before beginning your drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you will arrive at Arusha Airport in time for your evening flight back to Zanzibar (typically departing from around 17:30 onwards).

As you fly back to the island, you will carry unforgettable memories of your short but incredible Tanzanian safari adventure.
