Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Joagro Safaris Tanzania guide will pick you up from your accommodation and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, located approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha via scenic paved roads.

Known for the Tarangire River that flows through the park, this area becomes a vital water source for wildlife, especially during the dry season. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife, with possible sightings of predators such as lions and leopards. The park is also famous for its ancient baobab trees and diverse birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to your accommodation in Karatu for overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater and Drive to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations. Descend over 600 meters to the crater floor for a game drive through its diverse habitats, home to wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, and the rare black rhino. The crater also supports a healthy population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.

During your game drive, you will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and a variety of other water birds, creating excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing.

After enjoying a picnic lunch and your final game drive, you will drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your memorable safari with Joagro Safaris Tanzania.
