Your adventure begins early in the morning with departure from Arusha after breakfast. Travel east through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania, passing vibrant villages, sisal plantations, and spectacular views of the Pare and Usambara Mountains.
Arrive at Mkomazi National Park around lunchtime and enjoy lunch before entering the park.
The afternoon is dedicated to an exciting game drive across one of Tanzania's least-visited national parks. Mkomazi offers wide open plains dotted with acacia woodland, providing excellent wildlife viewing in a peaceful environment.
The highlight of your visit is the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, home to Tanzania's successful black rhino conservation program. Here you'll have the rare opportunity to observe these critically endangered animals in a protected sanctuary while learning about ongoing conservation efforts. During your afternoon game drive, you will see
Black Rhinos, African Elephants, Giraffes Zebras Buffaloes

Day 2

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning wildlife drive as animals become active during the cooler hours.
Leave Mkomazi and drive toward the beautiful West Usambara Mountains, one of Tanzania's oldest mountain ranges and globally recognized biodiversity hotspots.
The road gradually climbs through lush farmlands, tea estates, and picturesque mountain villages before reaching Mazumbai Forest Reserve.
After lunch, begin your first guided rainforest walk.
This ancient montane rainforest, managed by Sokoine University of Agriculture, protects hundreds of endemic plant and animal species found nowhere else on Earth
During hike you'll discover:

Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible biodiversity of the Mazumbai Forest Reserve through a full-day guided nature hike.
The reserve is internationally recognized as part of the Eastern Arc Mountains, one of the world's most important biodiversity hotspots.
Your hike follows well-maintained forest trails beneath towering indigenous trees draped with mosses and lichens.

Day 4
Mazumbai – Mombo – Arusha

Depart Mazumbai and descend through the spectacular Usambara Mountains toward Mombo, passing scenic villages, fertile farmland, and panoramic viewpoints.
Continue your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
