Begin your 4-day safari with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and journey to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas, followed by a short break in Narok Town. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and relax after your journey. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit a traditional Masai village (optional, at an additional cost) to experience the rich culture, customs, and way of life of the Masai people. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara full day experience

After breakfast at 6:30 am, depart for a full-day game drive starting at 7:00 am. Your guide will navigate the Mara’s varied ecosystems, including savannahs, riverine forests, and seasonal wetlands. You will have opportunities to observe the Big Five in their natural habitat, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, gazelles, and a wide variety of birds.
Continue exploring the reserve until 1:00 pm, when you return to camp for lunch and rest. Resume your afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm, venturing into quieter parts of the reserve for close-up wildlife encounters and photography. The day ends around 6:30 pm, returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast at 7:00 am, depart Masai Mara and drive north to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours, passing through scenic farmlands, rolling hills, and Maasai villages. Arrive at Lake Nakuru around 1:00 pm and enjoy lunch at the park lodge or picnic site.
After lunch, embark on a game drive from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Explore the lakeshore, famous for its pink flamingos and large pelican population. Spot black and white rhinos grazing in the park, giraffes browsing the acacia trees, zebras, buffalos, and other wildlife. Visit the Baboon Cliff viewpoint for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding parkland. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

Begin the day with breakfast at 6:30 am, followed by a morning game drive from 7:00 am to 9:00 am to spot any wildlife you may have missed the previous day. Depart Lake Nakuru at 9:30 am and drive back to Nairobi, passing through the scenic Rift Valley.
