Our driver guide shall be ready at the Kigali International Airport for your pick up. Meet and greet and drive toyour Hotel in Kigali. Drive time shall be aproximately 30minutes. Get a little briefing about your trip and pick up time for your safari the next day.

Travel to Akagera National Park

After our breakfast, we set off East of Kigali to Akagera National Park. Arrive in time for a morning game drive. Open the rooftop of your safari jeep and get to see lots of wildlife including, the Rhinos, Hyenas, Buffaloes, Hippos, Elpehants, birds like the Papyrus Gonolek, African Finfoot, African Fish Eagle, Palm-nut Vulture and many more. Drive to your lodge for lunch, relaxation by the pool for swimming and again have an evening game drive.

Game drive and Lake Ihema Boat ride

We have a great day today. Full day in the park with a lunch break at the lodge. Morning game drive to yet see more wildlife including the buffaloes, lions, elephants, lunch at the lodge with relaxation and again have an evening boat ride on Lake Ihema to see lots more wildlife including the hippos, crocodiles, birds like the kingfishers, herons and many more.

Travel to the Volcanoes National Park

We depart for the Volcanoes National Park and get ready for the Gorillas the next day. We have great views of the country side with lots of amazing rolling hills as we head through Ruhengeri town the Volcanoes. We have a couple of stopovers enroute for a little stretching and picture moments. Arrive in time for lunch, relax and have an evening community visit at the iby'iwacu cultural village. Return later on to the lodge for dinner and sleep.

Gorilla tracking

The day is her, we set off from our lodge a little early after breakfast, get to the briefing center for a full detailed Gorilla trekking brief. Get in your safari jeep and drive to the starting point of your Gorilla trek. Start off the trek trying to find the gentle giants in the Volcanoes National Park. Find the Gorillas between 1 and 5hrs of trekking and spend atleast 1hr with the gentle giants. Have your packed lunch deep in the park, return later and drive to your lodge. Have a relaxation at your lodge reflecting on the day.

Golden Monkeys and Kigali drop off

We are winding up with the Volcanoes National Park with an early Golden Monkey tracking in the community area of the park. Get upclose with these beautiful creatures feeding in the gardens and bamboo shrubs. Return later by 10am, drive to your lodge to refresh and drive back to Kigali city for a drop off at the Airport for your onward journey home.
