Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport for a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, have a brief stopover at the viewpoint and take some photos. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for check-in and lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the park to spot endangered white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and vibrant flocks of birds and the flamingoes along the lakeshore before returning for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and drive southwest across the valley floor toward the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at your tented camp in time for lunch. In the late afternoon, set out for your first thrilling game drive across the sweeping, golden savannahs. Enjoy high-probability sightings of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and your first encounters with the Mara's famous apex predators before returning for dinner and overnight at your tented camp.

Full day wildlife tracking in Maasai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the pristine savannah of the Masai Mara with a packed picnic lunch. Drive deep into the reserve toward the Mara River where the wilderbeest crossing normally happen from July to October every year. You will also have a chance to view hippos and crocodiles, and track Africa's densest concentration of big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You can optionally choose to visit a traditional Maasai village before heading back to camp for an evening campfire and dinner.
