Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with a pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. You will then stop at our office to meet the rest of the group before departing for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Travel south through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at the viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views and photographs. Continue to Masai Mara, arriving at your camp in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive across the reserve's vast plains, famous for their rolling grasslands, scattered acacia trees, and abundant wildlife. Look out for the Big Five, including black-maned lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and many other wildlife species that make the Masai Mara one of Africa's premier safari destinations.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp (or a similar budget camp).

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Explore its vast savannah plains in search of the Big Five and an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species.

Visit the famous Mara River, where you can watch hippos, Nile crocodiles, and other wildlife gathering along the riverbanks while enjoying your picnic lunch. You will also have the opportunity to take an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village to experience the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai people.

After an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, return to Mara Lenchada Tourist Camp (or a similar budget camp) for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai Village (optional) to experience the rich culture, customs, and traditional way of life of the Maasai people.

After the visit, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch en route. If time permits, you may make an optional stop at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can get up close to giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife (optional activity at an additional cost).

Continue to Nakuru, arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Resort (or a similar hotel).

Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya's premier wildlife sanctuaries. The park is renowned for its populations of black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, and over 350 bird species, including flamingos and pelicans when conditions are favorable. You may also spot the playful black-and-white colobus monkeys in the forested areas of the park.

After your game drive, depart for Nairobi with a picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
