After an early morning pick-up in Nairobi, depart for the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve, travelling through Kenya’s scenic Great Rift Valley landscapes. The Mara is one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations and part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, renowned for its abundant wildlife, Big Five sightings and the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.
Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive exploring the reserve’s vast savannah plains.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

One full day in Maasai Mara. After breakfast, we have a full-day game drive with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lion as well as its abundant resident wildlife and it's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds. Dinner and overnight at campsite or lodge.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and begin your journey to Tanzania’s world-famous Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border crossing. After completing the border formalities, continue your drive into the Serengeti, part of the greater Serengeti–Mara ecosystem.
Enjoy the scenic landscapes of rural East Africa as you travel towards the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp, relax, and prepare for the incredible wildlife experiences ahead.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive through the world-famous Serengeti National Park with a flexible schedule and a packed lunch. Renowned for its endless plains and extraordinary wildlife, the Serengeti is home to the Big Five, large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, and an abundance of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. The park is also a haven for birdlife, with nearly 500 recorded species.
Spend the day exploring different areas of the park in search of unforgettable wildlife encounters before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is most active and the golden morning light offers excellent photography opportunities. After breakfast at your lodge or camp, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views along the way.
Often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," the Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its spectacular landscapes and exceptional wildlife. Home to the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino, the crater boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.
Arrive at Pakulala Safari Camp in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations. Home to the Big Five and an incredible diversity of wildlife, the crater offers exceptional game viewing in a breathtaking natural setting.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the crater before a final game drive as you ascend the crater rim. Later, depart for Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, where your unforgettable Kenya and Tanzania safari comes to an end.
