Gorilla Tracking and Batwa cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers on gorilla trekking guidelines and safety procedures. You will then enter the rainforest with experienced guides in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take between one and six hours depending on the gorillas' location, with one magical hour spent observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later, enjoy a Batwa cultural experience, learning about the traditions, history, forest heritage, music, and way of life of the Batwa people before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will also visit the Uganda Equator for photographs and souvenir shopping before continuing to the Igongo Cultural Centre, where you can learn more about the traditions and heritage of western Uganda. Arrive in Entebbe or Kampala in the evening, marking the end of your memorable gorilla trekking safari.
