Nairobi to Masai Mara

We will pick you up from your hotel or the airport at 6:00 am and depart for the Masai Mara at 8:00 am via the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop for photography. Arrive at Jambo Mara Wooden Lodge for check-in and settle into your room in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in search of the Big Five before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Jambo Mara Wooden Lodge.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive across the spectacular Masai Mara National Reserve. Explore different sections of the park in search of the Big Five, including lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos, along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. During the great wildebeest migration season, visit the famous Mara River to witness one of nature's greatest wildlife spectacles. Enjoy lunch in the wild before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Maasai Village Visit and Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early breakfast before checking out of the lodge. You may opt to visit a traditional Maasai village (at an extra cost) for a cultural experience, where you'll learn about the Maasai people's customs, traditions, homesteads, and way of life while enjoying traditional songs and dances. Afterwards, depart for Nairobi with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, making a brief stop for refreshments and photography. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your memorable Masai Mara safari.
