Back for a leisurely breakfast on the deck before the heat sets in and the pace slows to something altogether more agreeable. As the afternoon cools, lace up for a guided walking safari — tracking, birding, and reading the bush at ground level with an expert guide and armed scout. A final morning at Mfuwe before a shared game transfer takes you to Nkwali Camp — your home for the next three nights, situated on the banks of the Luangwa River on a magnificent meander, overlooking the National Park.
