Day 1

Early in the morning, around 6:00 AM, depending on your hotel location in Zanzibar, your private driver will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled 8:00 AM flight to the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 10:40 AM, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your exciting game drive through the legendary Serengeti National Park. Explore the endless plains in search of Africa’s Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, transfer to your tented camp for check-in, dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the spectacular Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast plains and exceptional wildlife. Accompanied by your professional safari guide, explore acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and rocky kopjes while searching for Africa’s Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. Along the way, you may encounter cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, and an impressive variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic location inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration. In the evening, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Descend approximately 600 metres into the crater for an unforgettable game drive across its diverse landscapes. Keep your eyes open for Africa’s Big Five, including the elusive black rhino, as well as lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and many other species. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the famous Hippo Pool before continuing your wildlife exploration. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, bringing your unforgettable Tanzania safari adventure to a memorable close.
