Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu

After an early breakfast, descend more than 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater’s permanent water sources and fertile grasslands support large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants.

Keep an eye out for the crater’s impressive predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. You’ll also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake where flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds are often seen. In the late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu for your overnight stay.
