3-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater Fly-in from Zanzibar

Zanzibar to Seronera Airstrip (Serengeti)

At 6:00 AM (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 AM flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti, which can be via Arusha Airport.

Upon your arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 10:00 AM, our driver-guide will pick you up for a game drive in Central Serengeti. You will stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park. Then, you'll proceed with the game drive until the evening. Afterward, you will head to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers. It has over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is home to massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the Dry season. The Northern Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelopes.

Choose a Maasai Boma visit to experience vibrant traditional customs and local village life, or explore Olduvai Gorge, the famous "Cradle of Mankind" archaeological site. Finish your day descending into lush Karatu for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater

You'll depart from your accommodation after breakfast at 6:00 AM for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about 3 hours to reach the Ngorongoro gate. You'll embark on a full-day crater tour game drive with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, departing at 4:30 PM. Upon arrival at 5:30 PM, you will meet our driver, who will transfer you to your hotel.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the World Heritage Sites designated under both natural and cultural criteria. Once you descend into the crater, you will have a great chance to spot the Big Five animals, including prides of lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos, bird species like flamingos in the crater lakes, and an amazing natural environment inside the crater. Be ready to see many varieties of wild animals here within a short time.
