Full-Day Maasai Mara Game Drive

Spend the full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Begin early when wildlife is active and temperatures are cooler, creating excellent conditions for photography and wildlife observation. Search for predators and herbivores across the reserve, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.

After a midday break, continue exploring the reserve during an afternoon game drive. Your guide will select the most productive areas based on wildlife movements and your interests. During the Great Migration season, there may also be opportunities to witness large herds of wildebeest and zebra moving through the ecosystem.

Final Game Drive and Return to Nairobi

Start the morning with a final game drive in the Maasai Mara. This provides another opportunity to encounter wildlife before leaving the reserve, with particular attention given to predators, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. The early morning light also creates excellent opportunities for wildlife photography.

After the game drive, depart the Mara and begin your return journey to Nairobi. Travel through the Kenyan countryside as the savannah gradually changes into agricultural and highland landscapes. Arrive in Nairobi later in the day, bringing your budget Maasai Mara safari to a close.
