Cape Town to the Sekekama Tented Camp – Afternoon Sunset Drive

You will fly from the Cape Town International Airport to Hoedspruit Airport, where you will be collected and transferred to Sekekama Tented Camp. Upon arrival, you will check into your upgraded glamping tent, offering more luxurious finishes, enhanced comfort, and upgraded facilities for a more refined safari stay.

In the afternoon, you will depart on a 3-hour open safari vehicle game drive in the Greater Kruger’s Tshukudu Private Game Reserve.

Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, various antelope species, and other wildlife as you explore the African bush.

You will return to camp in the evening for a delicious boma fire dinner (weather dependent), followed by a peaceful and comfortable night under the stars.

Open Vehicle Safari Drive in the Kruger National Park

You will rise early to be ready at 05:30 (when predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas are most active) for a full-day safari into Kruger National Park with The Kruger Safari Co.

Your day may unfold in one of two ways: an early departure for Kruger National Park with a bush breakfast along the route and an earlier return, or having breakfast at the lodge first, departing and returning later.

The exact departure times will be communicated to you the night before as it will be decided according to animal activity at the time to give you the best opportunity for game viewing. Your Kruger Park safari will last 7 to 8 hours, so you should be back at the camp with enough time to relax before dinner by the fire.
