Arusha-Ndutu Area

Upon arrival at Arusha airport, you will meet your safari guide and begin your journey toward the beautiful Ndutu area, located within the southern Serengeti ecosystem. As you make your way into the area, you will have your first opportunity to experience Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and landscapes. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an afternoon game drive around Ndutu, an area particularly famous for the Great Migration and calving season. In the evening, you will settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at Sero Tented Camp.

Ndutu - serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring the Ndutu area, enjoying game drives across its open plains, seasonal lakes, and woodland habitats. Ndutu is an excellent area for spotting wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, and other predators, with wildlife activity varying throughout the year. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your safari into the afternoon. Later, you will drive toward the central Serengeti and spend the night at Tukaone Tented Camp.

Today you will explore the spectacular Central Serengeti, an area renowned for its abundant resident wildlife and the famous Seronera Valley. After breakfast, you will head out for a game drive in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. The central Serengeti offers excellent year-round wildlife viewing, with the beautiful landscapes providing countless opportunities for memorable photographs. After a full day of adventure, you will return to Tukaone Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will leave the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, exploring its rich wildlife-filled landscape. The crater is home to large populations of lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and many other species, and it also offers a chance to spot the endangered black rhino. After your crater experience, you will ascend and continue toward your departure point or airport, bringing your unforgettable four-day Tanzanian safari to an end.
