Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania's gateway to the famous northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our team and transferred to Outpost Lodge, where you will spend your first night. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or explore some of the surrounding areas of Arusha. In the evening, your guide will meet you for a detailed briefing about the upcoming adventure, including the planned routes, riding conditions, safety procedures and daily activities. You will also have an opportunity to become familiar with your motorcycle and discuss the journey with your guide. The evening provides a relaxed start before heading into the countryside the following morning.

Arusha – West Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, begin your motorcycle adventure from Arusha towards the beautiful West Kilimanjaro area. The journey takes you away from the busy urban environment and into the countryside, where you will encounter farms, villages, open landscapes and local communities. The route combines different types of roads, allowing you to experience the changing scenery and rural character of northern Tanzania. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop for photographs, refreshments and short breaks while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains and plains. As you approach West Kilimanjaro, the landscape becomes more open and peaceful. Arrive at Simba Farm and enjoy a relaxing afternoon surrounded by nature and the calm atmosphere of the farm.

West Kilimanjaro – Lake Natron

After breakfast, continue your journey by motorcycle from West Kilimanjaro towards the spectacular Lake Natron area. Today's route takes you through remote countryside, traditional settlements and changing landscapes as you approach the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you may encounter Maasai communities and experience a different side of rural Tanzanian life. The scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as you approach Lake Natron, with volcanic landscapes and the impressive Ol Doinyo Lengai appearing on the horizon. Lake Natron is a unique natural environment known for its alkaline waters and importance as a breeding area for lesser flamingos. Upon arrival, check in at Lengai Safari Lodge and relax while enjoying the spectacular surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, optional local activities may be arranged.

Lake Natron – Arusha

After breakfast, begin the final journey from Lake Natron back to Arusha. Leaving the dramatic scenery of the Great Rift Valley behind, you will travel through rural landscapes and communities as you gradually make your way towards the city. The return journey offers another opportunity to appreciate the changing scenery of northern Tanzania, with opportunities to stop for photographs, refreshments and short breaks along the way. Your guide will ensure that the journey is comfortable and enjoyable while taking into consideration weather and road conditions. Upon arrival in Arusha, the 4-day Tanzania Motorcycle & Wildlife Adventure comes to an end. Depending on your onward travel plans, we can arrange a transfer to your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
