Today after breakfast from your place of residence in Kigali, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver guide who will brief you about the safari before beginning the scenic drive to volcanoes national park in northern Rwanda. The journey offers spectacular views of Rwanda rolling hills, countryside villages and lush green landscapes.

Day 2
Mountain gorilla trekking at volcanes national park
Mountain gorilla trekking at volcanes national park
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and briefing by the park rangers regarding gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines. After the briefing you will be allocated family and transferred to the trekking starting point. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, begin your trek through the rainforest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. The trekking experience can take anywhere between 1 to 7hours or more depending on movement of the gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in the natural habitat while taking photographs and learning about their behaviors and social interactions. After trek, return to the lodge for relaxation. Overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.

Day 3

After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive to Nyungwe national park located south western Rwanda. Enjoy breathing landscapes along the way including tea plantation, rolling hills, local villages and panoramic countryside views. Arrive at Nyungwe top view Hill Hotel in the afternoon and enjoys the peaceful atmosphere overlooking and surrounding tea environment. Spend the entire evening at Nyungwe top view lodge.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, Head to the park headquarters for briefing before beginning your chimpanzee trekking experience in Nyungwe forest. Nyungwe national park is home to several primate species including chimpanzee, colobus monkeys and many bird species. Guided by experienced park rangers, enjoy an exciting trek through the rain forest in search of the chimpanzees
After trek, Trek return for lunch and later enjoy the famous Nyungwe canopy walk, a suspended bridge offering spectacular aerial view of the rainforest and surrounding landscapes. Return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 5
Transfer to Kigali and departure
Transfer to Kigali and departure
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and begin your return journey to Kigali. Enjoy another scenic drive through Rwanda beautiful countryside with optional stopovers for photography, local markets or cultural experiences depending on your departure schedule. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be transferred to Kigali international airport or to your hotel.
