Day 4
Central Serengeti
Central Serengeti
Today is all about the kings of the savannah! The Central Serengeti is one of the finest places in Africa to observe lion prides in their natural habitat. An early start gives us the best chance to see them at their most active, and with a little luck, we may even witness the excitement of a hunt.
The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, so throughout the day we'll also be on the lookout for elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, giraffes, Grant's gazelles, impalas, kongoni (Coke's hartebeest), eland, cheetahs, and, if fortune smiles upon us, even the elusive leopard.
With an expert wildlife guide behind the wheel, every game drive offers fascinating sightings and countless opportunities to capture unforgettable photographs and videos of Africa's spectacular wildlife.
As the day draws to a close, we'll journey north through the Serengeti before arriving at our welcoming tented camp, where a warm reception, delicious meal, and a relaxing evening await.

Northern Serengeti
Northern Serengeti
Northern Serengeti is one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife regions and an important stage of the Great Wildebeest Migration. The area comes alive as thousands of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and other grazing animals, move across the vast plains in search of fresh grass and water. Depending on the season, the herds may gather around the Mara River, creating one of nature’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles.
Spend the day following the migration routes with your experienced safari guide, searching for large concentrations of wildebeest and observing their constant movement across the wilderness. The Northern Serengeti offers incredible opportunities for photography and witnessing the powerful survival journey of the migrating herds. River crossings, however, are completely natural events and cannot be guaranteed, making every sighting unique and unpredictable.

As we leave the endless plains behind, we’ll enjoy the memories of unforgettable sightings and incredible moments shared in the heart of the Serengeti. The journey back to Karatu will be a long and bumpy one, but it marks the return to our familiar lodge for our final evening.
