Day 2

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive towards Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for your first game drive. The park is known for its diverse landscapes, including woodland, open plains and the alkaline lake that attracts a variety of birdlife. Enjoy a safari through the park while looking out for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife. In the afternoon, continue to Karatu, arriving at Acacia Farm Lodge in time to relax and enjoy dinner. Your evening is free to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and travel towards the Serengeti, with a stop at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a visit to the remarkable Olduvai Gorge. Continue towards Serengeti National Park, enjoying changing landscapes as you enter one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations. Your journey continues with opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way before arriving at Roho Maji Luxury Camp. Settle into camp and enjoy the surrounding wilderness before dinner and an overnight stay. The location places you in an excellent position for the wildlife experiences ahead.

As you approach the Mara River region, keep your eyes open for the dramatic wildlife activity associated with the crossing season. Later, continue to Nyuki Migration Camp, where you can relax in the wilderness and enjoy dinner. Optional for an extra cost: a hot air balloon safari can be arranged for a spectacular aerial view of the Serengeti.
