Arusha – Ndutu Area

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive toward the Ndutu area in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy scenic views as you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before reaching the seasonal plains of Ndutu. After lunch, begin your first game drive, searching for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. During the calving season, the area becomes especially active as thousands of wildebeest gather with their newborn calves. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your camp.

Full-Day Ndutu Wildlife & Calving Safari

Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu plains with morning and afternoon game drives. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the Great Migration, particularly between December and March when wildebeest gather for calving. Watch large herds moving across the plains while predators patrol nearby. Your experienced guide will help you locate wildlife and explain the seasonal movements of the animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Ndutu – Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive around the Ndutu area before departing toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Continue through the spectacular landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. As you leave the open plains behind, the scenery gradually changes to lush highland forests and rolling landscapes. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the Ngorongoro/ Karatu area, check in and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. You may also have the opportunity to experience a local cultural activity before dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Descend into the crater and explore its diverse habitats, home to an impressive concentration of wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while surrounded by spectacular scenery. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or evening, where your safari comes to an end.
