Day 1

Your 5-day Tanzania group safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2–3 hours from Arusha. After entering the park, enjoy a full game drive exploring the diverse landscapes of Tarangire.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and excellent wildlife viewing. Depending on the season, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelopes, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the designated area before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, leave the park and proceed to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti. The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities to enjoy scenic views and wildlife along the way.

Continue towards Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. After entering the park, begin your first game drive through the Serengeti plains. Keep an eye out for large herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, and other wildlife.

Arrive at the campsite in the evening, enjoy dinner, and relax under the African night sky.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, head out with your guide for a full-day game drive.

The Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife. Your experienced driver-guide will follow wildlife movements and select the best areas for game viewing. You may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, and many species of antelope.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing your game drive. As the afternoon progresses, return towards the campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast or a picnic lunch, begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route offers beautiful scenery and opportunities for additional wildlife viewing as you leave the Serengeti behind.

Continue to the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you will enjoy the cooler climate and spectacular highland landscapes. Arrive at your accommodation, have dinner, and relax in preparation for the following day's Ngorongoro Crater experience.

Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other wildlife. The crater also offers beautiful scenery, with grasslands, forests, wetlands, and the famous crater lake.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the crater visit before beginning the ascent. After leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
