Fly from Zanzibar to Mikumi Natopnal Park – Game Drive

Begin your adventure with a morning flight from Zanzibar Island to Mikumi National Park. As you fly over Tanzania’s landscapes, enjoy the changing scenery before landing near the park. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and begin your first game drive through Mikumi’s vast savannah plains, often known as “The Little Serengeti.” Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, lions, hippos, and other wildlife as you explore the park.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your game drive into the afternoon, when wildlife is often active and the changing light creates opportunities for photography. Your guide will help you discover the park’s diverse habitats and point out animals, birds, and details along the way.

Later, head to your lodge/tented camp for dinner & an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness. Relax and enjoy the park’s atmosphere as you prepare for another exciting day of safari exploration.
