Johannesburg - Hoedspruit - Afternoon Game Drive

Your safari begins with a flight from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS). On arrival, meet your representative and transfer by road to Simbavati Waterside in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.

Arrive at the lodge, check in and enjoy time to settle into your beautiful surroundings. Later in the afternoon, meet your safari guide and depart on your first open-vehicle game drive through the reserve. Explore the Greater Kruger wilderness in search of elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge after your safari for dinner and a relaxing evening in the African bush.

Morning and Afternoon Game Drives

Wake early and head into the Klaserie wilderness for a morning game drive. The cooler early hours provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing as the bush comes alive with activity.

Return to Simbavati Waterside for breakfast and spend the middle of the day relaxing at the lodge. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, lodge facilities and views across the African bush before your next safari.

Later in the afternoon, depart on another open-vehicle game drive with your professional guide. Continue exploring different sections of the reserve and enjoy the changing atmosphere as afternoon turns to evening.

Return to the lodge for dinner and your final night in Klaserie.

Rise early for your final morning game drive in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Enjoy one last opportunity to experience the Greater Kruger wilderness and search for wildlife before returning to Simbavati Waterside for breakfast.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) for your onward flight.
