Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, begin the scenic journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience, where you will explore on foot with an experienced ranger in search of southern white rhinos while learning about Uganda’s rhino conservation efforts. After the trek, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, with a lunch stop along the way. On arrival, visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the mighty River Nile is forced through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging powerfully downstream. Enjoy the dramatic views and photo opportunities before proceeding to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. Explore the wildlife-rich tracks while searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, waterbucks and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, transfer to the River Nile for a scenic boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Cruise past large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles and abundant birdlife, with opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes and other animals along the riverbanks. Enjoy spectacular views of the powerful falls from below before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest and transfer back to Entebbe to end the Tour

After an early breakfast, transfer to Budongo Forest for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Following a briefing, enter the tropical forest with an experienced ranger-guide in search of a habituated chimpanzee community. Once located, enjoy the permitted viewing period observing the chimpanzees as they feed, groom, communicate and move through the forest. After completing the trek, begin your journey back to Entebbe, with a convenient stop for lunch along the way. Enjoy the changing countryside as you travel south before arriving in Entebbe later in the day. Depending on your onward arrangements, transfer to your hotel or Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Uganda safari.
