As you approach Ndutu, the landscape becomes especially rewarding during the calving season, when large herds of wildebeest and zebras gather across the open grasslands. With thousands of newborn calves taking their first steps, the area also attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas, creating exciting opportunities to observe the natural cycle of life in the wild. Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Ndutu area, when the cool temperatures and soft morning light create excellent conditions for wildlife viewing. Continue exploring the open plains and surrounding habitats as your experienced guide follows recent wildlife activity and searches for the migrating herds. During the calving season, you may encounter large concentrations of wildebeest and zebras, along with newborn calves and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas that are drawn to the area. Take time to observe the animals in their natural environment while enjoying the beautiful scenery of southern Tanzania. After a picnic lunch in the wilderness, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring more of Ndutu and looking for additional wildlife encounters. Later in the afternoon, leave the Ndutu plains and drive toward your accommodation. Arrive at Ole Kamwanja Lodge in the evening, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Ngorongoro Crater To Zanzibar
Ngorongoro Crater To Zanzibar
After breakfast, depart from your accommodation and drive toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for your final game drive, exploring the diverse habitats across the crater floor. The area is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, offering opportunities to encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Your experienced guide will explore different areas of the crater while looking for the best wildlife sightings and allowing you time to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Stop at a designated picnic site for lunch, surrounded by the natural beauty of the crater. After lunch, continue with a final drive before ascending the crater walls. Proceed toward the appropriate airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
