Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Begin your journey early in the morning from Entebbe with your Afriquest Travels professional driver-guide. Travel southwest through Uganda's scenic countryside, with stops for refreshments, photography and lunch along the way.

Continue towards Bwindi, passing through rolling hills, rural communities and spectacular landscapes before arriving at your lodge in the afternoon.

Check in, relax and prepare for the following day's gorilla trek. Your guide will provide a briefing on trekking requirements, what to carry and gorilla trekking etiquette.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in BwindI Impenetrable

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Rushaga Gorilla Trekking Headquarters for registration and briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.

Begin your trek into the ancient Bwindi forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas.

Once the gorillas are located, spend the designated viewing time observing their behaviour, taking photographs and enjoying this extraordinary wildlife encounter.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the Afternoon Embark on Batwa cultural experience.

Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Lake Bunyonyi, enjoying the spectacular terraced hills and highland scenery of southwestern Uganda.

Arrive at Lake Bunyonyi around midday and check into your accommodation.

After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, exploring some of its numerous islands while learning about the area's culture and history.

Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lake, enjoying the scenery and taking photographs.

Later Return to the Lodge and Relaxation. Have dinner and Prepare for the next day Journey.
