You will be welcomed by a tour guide from Abunda Discoveries Uganda and begin your journey in Kigali with a meaningful visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you learn about Rwanda’s history, remembrance, and remarkable journey of recovery. Afterwards, continue through Rwanda’s scenic countryside and rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, enjoying beautiful landscapes and views of the Virunga Mountains along the way.

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, drive to the headquarters for briefing, join experienced guides and trackers for a guided trek through the lush mountain forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend precious time (one hour) observing the gorillas at close range as they feed, play, rest and interact, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Virunga Mountains. After drive back to the accommodation for lunch and relaxation.
