Transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive southeast towards Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy views of the changing landscapes as you travel from the city through the Kenyan countryside towards the expansive wilderness of Tsavo.

Enter the park and continue to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, beautifully situated within Tsavo West. After check-in and lunch, take some time to relax and enjoy the lodge's tranquil surroundings.

In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive through Tsavo West National Park. Explore the park's diverse landscapes of volcanic hills, open plains, lava formations, and acacia woodland. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species.

Return to Kilaguni Serena in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting out for an exciting morning game drive. Explore different sections of Tsavo West as you search for wildlife in the cool morning hours.

Visit Mzima Springs, one of Tsavo West's most famous attractions. Walk along the nature trails surrounding the crystal-clear springs and look out for hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, and a variety of birdlife.

Continue your safari through the park, with opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes and other wildlife. Return to Kilaguni Serena for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, head out for another game drive, exploring the dramatic volcanic scenery and searching for wildlife as the afternoon temperatures cool. Depending on the day's arrangements, enjoy a scenic sundowner experience before returning to the lodge.

Return to Kilaguni Serena for breakfast before checking out and beginning your drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing scenery as you leave Tsavo behind and travel through the Kenyan countryside.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or early evening, with drop-off at your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
