Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by an Afriquest Travels representative who will assist you with your arrival formalities and luggage.

You will then be transferred to Airport Guest House for check-in and overnight stay.

The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax and recover from your journey ahead of the safari.

Day 2

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After Break fast, you will meet your professional driver-guide and begin the journey westward toward Kibale Forest National Park, one of Uganda's most important destinations for primate experiences.

The journey takes you through a beautiful mixture of farmland, banana plantations, local communities, rolling hills and lush green countryside. Your driver-guide will introduce you to Uganda's landscapes, people and culture as you travel toward the foothills of the Rwenzori region.

Along the way, have opportunities for a short stop for refreshments and photographs.

Continue toward the Kibale area and arrive at your lodge later in the afternoon.

Check in, have lunch and settle into your accommodation. You will spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing at the lodge.

Kibale is particularly famous for its primate diversity, and the following morning you will enter the forest for your chimpanzee tracking experience.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale and Bigodi Community Experience

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Kibale Forest tracking point for registration and a briefing by the ranger guides. Enter the lush rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees while enjoying sightings of other primates, birds and forest wildlife.

Once the chimpanzees are located, spend time observing their natural behaviour before returning to the trailhead.
Later, enjoy a Bigodi Community Experience, learning about the local community and their connection to the surrounding forest.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, depart Kibale Forest and drive south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic countryside and savannah landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and have lunch before proceeding to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise.
Enjoy close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous waterbirds along the channel. After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After an early breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, enter the forest Kyambura Gorge in search of habituated chimpanzees and other primates, while enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings.

After the trek, return to the lodge, have packed lunch and Check out for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes and local communities, with opportunities to enjoy the changing scenery of southwestern Uganda.

Upon arrival in Bwindi, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the upcoming gorilla trekking experience.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the gorilla trekking briefing point for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides before entering the ancient Bwindi rainforest in search of endangered mountain gorillas.

Enjoy an unforgettable gorilla encounter as you observe the family in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, embark on a Batwa Cultural Experience, learning about the Batwa people's traditional forest lifestyle, heritage, music, dance, and connection to the forest.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Your driver-guide will collect you from the lodge and begin the scenic drive through southwestern Uganda.

As you leave the Bwindi highlands, enjoy the final views of the region's rolling hills, cultivated terraces, local villages and green countryside.

Continue eastward through Uganda's countryside toward Kampala and Entebbe. With a stop over at the Equator for lunch and Photography.
