Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park

Your Tavira Africa Safaris driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport and drive east toward Akagera National Park. After entering the park, enjoy a scenic game drive through its savannah, woodland and wetland landscapes while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and other wildlife. Stop for lunch before continuing with more wildlife viewing in the afternoon. Later, transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.

Game Drive and Lake Ihema Sunset Boat Cruise

After breakfast, begin another rewarding game drive through Akagera National Park, exploring different habitats in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife. After lunch, continue toward Lake Ihema for a relaxing sunset boat cruise. Enjoy beautiful evening views while looking for hippos, crocodiles and water birds along the shoreline. After the cruise, leave Akagera and drive back to Kigali for drop-off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
