1-Day Tarangire Safari Elephants & Baobabs

After an early pickup from your hotel in Arusha we drive about two and a half hours to Tarangire National Park with a short stop on the way for photos and a stretch. Once through the gate we spend the day exploring in our 4x4 with a pop-up roof following the Tarangire River where elephants, zebra, wildebeest and giraffe gather. Keep your eyes on the baobabs: lions often rest in their shade and leopards sometimes appear in the branches. We stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot with views over the plains. After a last game drive in the golden afternoon light we head back to Arusha and drop you at your hotel in the evening with a camera full of memories.
