This remarkable region is famous for the Great Migration, when vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move through the northern plains and gather near the Mara River. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may encounter impressive herds or witness the dramatic atmosphere around the river. River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed.

After breakfast, begin your journey south through the extraordinary landscapes of the Serengeti. Today is both a scenic journey and an extended game drive, with opportunities to encounter wildlife along the way.
Travel through open grasslands, river valleys, and beautiful savannah scenery. Your guide will follow suitable wildlife-viewing routes while making your way towards Central Serengeti, a region renowned for its resident predators and diverse animal populations.
Look out for lions resting on rocky kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, and herds of zebras and antelopes. Stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness.
By late afternoon, reach Embalakai Serengeti Camp. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and another night beneath the African sky.

Day 3

Enjoy an early breakfast before leaving the Serengeti and continuing towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife habitats. Its grasslands, forests, and wetlands support an exceptional variety of animals, including buffaloes, elephants, lions, hippos, and the rare black rhino.
Explore the crater floor with your private guide, stopping for wildlife sightings and a picnic lunch in this spectacular natural setting. Although wildlife encounters are never guaranteed, the crater offers remarkable opportunities for game viewing.

Tarangire's Elephants and Return to Arusha
Your final day brings you to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees, beautiful savannah landscapes, and impressive elephant populations.
Explore the park in your private 4x4 vehicle, following wildlife trails through woodlands and along the Tarangire River. Watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and perhaps lions resting in the shade.
Enjoy a final picnic lunch and take time to appreciate the distinctive scenery of this remarkable national park.
After your game drive, return to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or another agreed location.
