Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or preferred meeting point in Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast. Begin your journey toward Jinja, enjoying views of local towns, roadside markets, plantations and the countryside of eastern Uganda.

Depending on your schedule, you may stop at Sezibwa Falls for a short nature walk or visit the edge of Mabira Forest to appreciate its tropical vegetation and birdlife. Continue to Jinja, Uganda’s famous adventure destination on the River Nile.

After lunch, visit the Source of the Nile and enjoy the scenic surroundings. You can choose an optional boat excursion to explore the river’s connection with Lake Victoria and observe birds along the water. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the following day’s rafting adventure.

After breakfast, transfer to the rafting meeting point for registration, a safety briefing and fitting of the required equipment. Professional rafting guides will explain paddling techniques, river procedures and safety instructions before you begin.

Set off on an exciting white water rafting experience along the Nile. Navigate thrilling rapids, paddle as a team and enjoy the river scenery throughout the adventure. The rafting route and rapid grades depend on the operator, water conditions and the trip selected. Follow your guides’ instructions throughout the activity.

After rafting, enjoy lunch and freshen up before beginning your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Arrive later in the afternoon or evening, depending on the rafting schedule and traffic. Your two-day Nile adventure ends with unforgettable memories of Jinja and the River Nile.
