Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by an Afriquest Travels representative and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe.

Arrival in Kibale National Park and Bigodi Community Experience

Arrive in the Kibale National Park area and transfer to your lodge. After check-in and lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk through a beautiful wetland rich in birdlife, primates, and diverse vegetation. Learn about local conservation efforts and community-based tourism.

Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation ahead of your chimpanzee trekking adventure the following day.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your guided chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale National Park. Explore the tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzees and observe their behaviour in their natural habitat. You may also encounter other primates and forest birds.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy scenic views of crater lakes, rolling hills, and rural communities along the way.

Arrive at your lodge, check in, and relax for the evening.

Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Rise early for breakfast before heading out for a guided morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the savannah plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, warthogs, and, with luck, lions and leopards.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before proceeding to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise. Observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous water birds along the channel’s shores while enjoying views of the surrounding landscapes.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Kyambura Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Kyambura Gorge visitor centre in Queen Elizabeth National Park for registration and a briefing by the park rangers. Begin your guided chimpanzee tracking experience through the forested gorge, searching for wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

As you explore the lush forest, you may encounter other primates, colourful bird species and unique vegetation. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend the permitted viewing time observing their behaviour and social interactions before returning from the gorge.

After the activity, begin your transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, enjoying views of Uganda’s countryside along the way. Have a stopover for lunch at the equator before continuing to the Airport.
