Travel in a private pop-up roof 4x4, stopping along the way before reaching camp for lunch. A Full Day Exploring the Masai Mara

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara in your private pop-up roof 4x4. Your guide follows the wildlife rather than a fixed checklist, allowing time to watch animal behavior and take photographs. Look for lions resting near cover, elephants moving between feeding areas and herds grazing on the plains. Lunch is included during the day, with breaks at permitted stopping places. The migration is seasonal and sightings depend on natural movements; resident wildlife provides interest throughout the year. Return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for dinner.

A second full day in the Mara gives you time to explore different habitats and follow up on wildlife you may have missed. Watch for cheetahs on open ground, buffalo herds and the birds that are easily overlooked on a rushed itinerary. Lunch and drinking water are included. Leave the Mara early after breakfast for the road journey into Tanzania. This is the longest travel day of the safari, with a border crossing and a coordinated handover to your Tanzanian guide and private 4x4. Keep your passport and required entry documents accessible; immigration procedures and road conditions affect the arrival time. Lunch is included along the way. Continue into the Serengeti and reach Enkirari Wilderness Camp for dinner. Wildlife may be seen en route, but no separate game drive is promised today. Three nights here give you two full days to explore without changing camp.
